Abstract

Studies of knowledge utilization and information transfer have been carried out in many scientific and technical areas, but few of them in road safety. This paper describes a survey carried out in Israel, which examined 170 safety research projects completed for 1967 to 1984. The most significant factor for implementation was found to be a strong positive interaction between the researcher and the client after research results were published.
