Abstract

This document presents results from the evaluation of the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Model Deployment Initiative (MMDI). As one of four model deployment sites selected by the United States Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT), the San Antonio initiative is intended to showcase large-scale deployments of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and to demonstrate the benefits of deploying such systems in an integrated fashion. This paper briefly introduces the various integrated deployments undertaken as part of the San Antonio effort and provides a summary of the major findings associated with these deployments. For the covering abstract see ITRD E114174.
