The paper is focused on the short evaluation of the current state of transport in the town of Zilina in terms of transport infrastructure, transport services, energy consumption and CO2 emissions with the aim to propose suitable MM measures for the town. This study represents the firs part of the more extensive document called “The Action Plan for Transport in Zilina” which is worked out within the EU project MOVE focused on the support of alternative transport modes by implementing MM measures.
