Abstract

4.600 driver records were analyzed to determine the frequency of suspension violation. Analysis showed 34% of drivers drove while under suspension, 23% driver, but said they were not aware their licenses were under suspension and 41% did not drive. Those suspended for moving and administrative violations were the most likely to drive while under suspension and the least likely to alter their driving habits and patterns.
