Abstract
There are various factors that influence the sitting comfort of automobile seats. Important elements that often determine how a seat is assessed in terms of sitting comfort are the fatigue phenomena that occur on long drive. The possibility of reducing fatigue by providing an optimum fit between the seat and the occupant's body and optimum sitting posture is examined and some results are presented.
