Abstract

This paper describes an extensive project of traffic information exchange covering three countries and directly involving ten operators. The exchange network is based on standards, (data dictionary and message formats) developed by DRIVE projects including MELYSSA and uses the STRADA system, a powerful tool for creating a value added network for European-wide data exchange. A comprehensive evaluation will provide useful information on the adequacy of the standards and STRADA system compared to the needs and on the value of the information exchange for operators. (A)
