Abstract

At "Convergence Nineteen-Ninety', the International Congress on Transportation Electronics, 14 top executives from the automotive and electronics industries gathered to discuss the challenges facing the worldwide automotive electronics industry in the next decade. This report presents the analyses and predictions of these 14 keynote speakers and Blue Ribbon Panel members. These company leaders and top ranking executives addressed the challenges of fuel economy and emissions, security and mobility, customer expectations, and the global marketplace.
