Abstract

The systems research group compared four taillight systems with the conventional taillight system. The systems tested were:-1) tri-light, which presents pedal information (red for brake, amber for us pedal, and green for gas); 2) acceleration system (green for acceleration, amber for wild deceleration, red for rapid deceleration; 3) advanced (H-RV), which incorporated headway, relative velocity and velocity of the following car; 4) fusion system, based on the fusion of lights at various distances.
