Abstract

Impact tests between medium- sized motor vehicles and a dummy pedestrian representing a whole human figure are examined. The relationships between the vehicle front end and the impact locations on both dummy and vehicle, impact speed, etc. are studied in the interest of developing a pedestrian oriented safety vehicle.
