Abstract

The purpose of the study is to obtain a nationally-representative estimate of the number of miles-of-travel driven by Canadian motorists. Moreover, the number of miles-of-travel driven by different driver categories, in different vehicle categories, on different roadway types, and through different environmental conditions will be examined. A non-exhaustive review of the literature for this study is presented.
