Abstract

This paper provides a description of how the current European ITS Framework (FRAME) Architecture is being extended to include Cooperative Systems by the EC funded E-FRAME support action. The work has highlighted the fact that requirements are written in different ways for different stakeholders, and so the work of creating the FRAME User Needs became one of reverse engineering. The issues that need to be considered during this process are discussed and the resulting process of updating the FRAME Architecture described.
