Abstract

Reports of bicycle-associated accidents collected by the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS) are analyzed. It is shown that bicycle-associated injuries are highly seasonal, and have increased very slightly with time over the past 3½ years. A slight increase in the age of persons injured is also noted.
