Abstract

Eye damages caused by fragments of tempered windshields have increased considerably over the past years. The most serious damages occur when the face hits the lower part of the windshield remaining in the windshield opening. The possibility of avoiding such eye damages by use of seat bells and laminated glass are discussed.
