Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of residual sedation induced by benzodiazepine hypnotics, upon driving performance. The emphasis is on comparing different measures of driving performance in different traffic situations. The results indicated that all driving performance variables detected a gross driving impairment after the use of triazolam 0.5 mg.
