These include: a) priority at ticket offices; b) special seats in all carriages for invalids and mothers with small children; c) free or half price tickets for war and military invalids; and d) half price tickets for the blind and their guides. Facilities for slightly disabled people include: a) the appointment of staff to take care of the handicapped while in the station; b) first aid points; c) the installation of ramps with rails; d) modification of ticket offices, telephone boxes and toilets to make them more accessible to people in wheelchairs; and e) installation of large pictograms to show where various services such as toilets are located.
