Abstract
Immigrants are people who live or stay in the Netherlands but who were not born here or who have one or more parents who were not born in the Netherlands. Immigrants have a different set of values and standards than native Dutch road users, or have insufficient command of the Dutch language to be able to understand instructions and warnings and can therefore misinterpret traffic situations, placing them more at risk.
