Abstract

This group covers people with temporary or permanent motor impairment, i.e. anyone who is restricted in their ability to move freely and with full control. People with motor impairments are vulnerable compared with other road users, and car traffic in particular, because they cannot respond to threats as quickly as other people, if at all. Their motor impairment makes them less agile and dependent on other people for help. (Author/publisher)
