Factors affecting the number of trips by private and public transport.

Abstract

Variables used in models of trip generation are traffic motivation, attractiveness of journeys depending mainly on journey time, service frequency, degree of overloading and interchange between vehicles and transport modes. Land use parameters are introduced once the model is calibrated.
