Abstract

A survey of 8 pedestrians overpasses in Israel, based on counts and interviews, showed a wide range of utilization rates. The extent of utilization was related to four categories, which are described. The results were shown to be useful in furthering criteria for bridge planning and design, and in obtaining a better estimate of expected time saving and accident reduction.
