Abstract

The simulation frame of the program FASIM (FAhrdynamik-SIMulation) allows: (1) kinematic and (2) dynamic simulations; and (3) numerical linearisation with eigenvalue computations and the direct computation of stationary motion as for example the stationary cornering even under extreme conditions. The simulation of the continuous vehicle motion is combined with the simulation of discrete digital control. The vehicle model is split up into modules like car body, suspension, et cetera.
