Abstract

After the registration of a medical drug it is important for the post-marketing surveillance to detect the desired and undesired effects of the drug. The feasibility has been studied of linking pharmacy-based dispensing data and hospital-based morbidity data. The importance and limits of such a linking for such post marketing surveillance is presented. See also B 31654 fo.
