Abstract

The National Crash Severity Study (NCSS) is a project of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. NCSS collects crash-related data for a rigid sample of accidents within eight sampling areas. This report investigates the fatalities on the first fifteen months of NCSS, which includes towaway, passenger car accidents.
