Feasibility-study model for pedestrian malls.

Abstract

A model for performing feasibility studies of pedestrian mall proposals is presented. The model is based on the systems approach to solving large scale decision problems. To demonstrate the application of the model 2 alternative mall and (2) a pedestrian mall with an exclusive bus lane. The case study was the proposed 16th Street Mall for Denver's central business district.
