Abstract
A detailed and illustrated account of the progress in highway research and development during 1975 is reported. The report consists of two major parts, the first of which provides an in-depth discussion of the agency's R & D activities. The second portion gives a variety of information relating to the agency mission, organization, services, and funding. While the report is primarily concerned with the direct research and development efforts conducted by the FHWA, coverage is also provided for other highway research financed with Federal aid highway funds.
