Abstract

Papers presented at the symposium discussed accident data collection methodology, data analysis procedures, and accident reconstruction techniques. The papers were intended to develop a better understanding of: the problems of accident data collection; the strengths and weaknesses of data systems; and how data may be used to develop crash injury countermeasures.
