A field trial with breath analysis equipment under operational police conditions.

Abstract

In October 1985 proposals for new legislative measures were presented to the Parliament replacing blood analyses by breath analyses as a legal device, to be introduces in June 1987. Activities concerning the preparation of that new legislation has reacted a stage at which a field trial with instruments under operational conditions is desirable. The organisation, the objectives and the evaluation of this trial are discussed.
