Abstract
The chance for a collision between a cyclist and a driving motor vehicle, by which the cyclist is fatally wounded, is much greater in twilight and darkness than in daylight. It is expected that there will be a decrease in such accidents when the cycle has a red reflector with a retroreflectorizing value of 2.25 candela per lux.
