Getting people on a bicycle is one thing, having cyclists in town is second best, but keep them cycling on is arduous.Bicycle- marketing is a must. The slogan "Cycle- Country Holland" is often been heard, inside our country and abroad. However The Netherlands may be on the lead, it is surely not (yet) a bicycle- paradise. By means of real integration of cycling in urban and rural traffic management policies, positive effects on automobility and environment have already been and still can be scored.
