In part I of the study a set up for research into bicycle provisions on road sections within built-up areas was presented and the results of a literature review on this subject were discussed (see IRRD 265960). In part II the 145 road sections which were selected for the research and from which the road and traffic characteristics were taken are described and results are presented. To make the data of traffic intensities usable for the analysis, some further counts were made. Accident data on the selected road sections were analysed and first conclusions are presented. Furthermore it is studied whether the sample with road sections was made a-selective.
