Abstract
The Code of Practice in this leaflet sets out arrangements for consulting on proposals to introduce traffic calming measures and for agreeing the means of implementing those proposals. The leaflet is also intended to encourage fire and ambulance service operators and local highway authorities to work together in achieving accident reduction targets. (A)
