Abstract

In 1973 a training program in emergency medical care for the first person to respond to a traffic accident, was published. It was titled: Crash Injury Management for Traffic Law Enforcement Officers and came to be known as the CIM course. This study involved revision of the CIM program to ensure that it is up to date from the point of view of both technical content and instructional strategy.
