Flexible work hours and commuting choices: survey results from downtown Seattle.

Abstract

Transportation impacts of introducing flexible work hours of 8 companies in downtown Seattle are assessed. The analysis is based on a survey of participating employees. Results of the survey indicate that many employees on flex-time who previously travelled during rush hours will switch to an earlier commute time.
