Abstract

This volume on formal theories of visual perception giving international contributions is dividing into two parts and begins by exploring the development of analytical theories of field effects and then goes on to discuss the development of coding theories of complex patterns. Among the topics discussed are perceptual invariance, space perception, salience, problem solving, and the development of perceptivity.
