Abstract

Traffic education can be an important countermeasure to improve the position of specific risk groups in traffic, in particular of school- aged children. Young cyclists and moped riders form such a risk group at which educational effort has been directed. However, a critical review of the available bicycle and moped programs revealed that most of these programs are not based upon empirical information.
