Abstract

Several sub-targets that define the locations of specific classes of objects in the drivers environment are combined to form the composite forward field of view target. These sub-targets can be constructed in full scale and viewed through the windshield and side windows of a vehicle. The exact size, shape and location of each sub-target are defined.
