Abstract

In a completed research a series of diagrammatic signs was installed and their effectiveness judged by evaluating the unusual manoeuvres of exciting motorists. It is reported that diagrammatic signs can reduce stopping and backing manoeuvre rates under certain conditions but may increase unusual exit gore manoeuvre rates at the same location.
