TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1833 is a two-part set. Part one includes review of a road transportation and trade facilitation strategy for Central Asia, an evaluation of freight transportation policy in Illinois, and an assessment of pipeline adequacy to meet natural gas demand in New York State. Part two includes papers on the perceived benefits of congestion pricing for trucks, the economic and financial feasibility of truck toll lanes, and the effects of truck driver wages and working conditions on highway safety. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2003.
