Abstract

This publication consists of 16 papers that explore distribution analysis of freight transportation, model for network assignment problem of capacitated freight with disruptions, centralized carrier collaboration, parametric and nonparametric trade gravity models, network design for shipping service of large-scale intermodal liners, road closures and freight diversion, choice of commercial vehicular mode in urban areas, and estimated generation of freight trips based on land use. This issue of the TRR also examines scheduling deliveries with backhauls, failed home deliveries, choice of shipment size in freight transport, applications of rubmrio model for U.S. trade patterns, status quo of city logistics in scientific literature, stop durations on urban tours with commercial vehicles, evaluation of distance-based and cordon-based urban freight road pricing, and simulating sustainable urban gateway development.
