Fuel cell-battery hybrid vehicles.

Abstract

A fuel-cell/lead-acid battery hybrid vehicle has been built to provide practical experience of the engineering problems which would be met which such a power source. Experience obtained in designing and operating an actual vehicle is described. Hydrazine-air batteries are used. A description is given of the control systems for driving the vehicle.
