Abstract

Full scale vehicle crash tests of luminaire supports conducted to evaluate their behaviour on impact and to develop quantitative information for comparison with pendulum tests of identical supports are reported. It is concluded that a definitive relation between change-in-monumentum values for pendulum tests and full-scale vehicle tests was not obtained.
