Abstract

A fundamental momentum energy model for central collisions which verifies the equations for v as obtained by McHenry's mass spring model used in the CRASH computer program, is presented. The ideal case of an elastic central collision is also analyzed and a simple relationship between v's of the ideal elastic case and the real world or inelastic case was established.
