Abstract

On the basis of actual experience, the proposed mathematical model is satisfactory for the maneuver of braking in a turn. It is shown that the use of mathematical models of driver/vehicle systems is an essential support of the experimental tests. Moreover mathematical models can give a contribution to the very confused situation of the active safety.
