Abstract

The previous paper reported that a group of twelve observers found it somewhat less glaring of look at light sources 22 degrees above a horizontal line of sough than to look straight ahead at the facing wall. The light sources were comparable to fluorescent troffers in projected area, and the wall was finished in a colour similar to that of the light source. The work to be reported in this paper used a different viewing angle in part, a contrasting wall colour, a smaller light source, a black bordered light source, and a source with a "buffering" border.
