Abstract
This book contains papers of a two-day meeting on urban transportation. The panelist were experts from a variety of disciplines: engineering, economics, urban planning, architecture and city administration. The panel was asked to focus its attention especially upon future requirements for scientific research whose results in the form of knowledge, insights and techniques might help public authorities in Member countries to make more effective policy decisions.
