Abstract

The scope of this report is to state, discuss and forecast the various aspects related to toxic and psychological factors in road traffic accidents. The more specific aim is to prepare a basis on which future action (and more particularly the different priorities for these actions), can be defined. The report sets out the information, based on scientific knowledge, which is necessary for the decision makers to establish the order of priorities for further research. After the analysis of the problems, the human factors in road traffic accidents are studied. The effect of temporary factors is presented in a state of the art form. A general and a specific approach for priorities for research is given.
