Abstract

The RAC Report on Motoring is an annual piece of in-depth research on the views of UK motorists. In 2006, the report focuses on four key themes: congestion, technology, the environment and road safety - issues which affect us all. The report is based on face to face interviews with more than 1,000 regular drivers and surveys and analyses the state of motoring today and provides a clear picture of how motorists view the numerous challenges of driving and possible solutions to them. As in previous years, the 2006 report provides a framework for debate on the pressing issues and challenges of managing Britain’s roads. (Author/publisher)
