The future requirements of aggregates for road construction.

Abstract

This paper is concerning with the possible future needs for aggregates for the roadwork's in which the Ministry of Transport has a financial interest. An attempt is made to assess these needs in terms of total quantities, relative proportions of the different sizes of aggregate, relative proportions of the different qualities of aggregate likely to be required for the different layers of the road and the regional distribution of the demand.
