Abstract

Alcocontrol" is a newly invented apparatus for breath-tests by the police in their checks on the use of alcohol. It is easy to use on the road and in the police station. It indicates very reliably three levels of alcohol content in the breath. A driver who remains below the lowest level can go home and one who is over the highest (0.8 o/oo) is requested to submit to a blood test and cannot drive for 8 hours at least. It can now be used by the police in the netherlands. The booklet also contains the text of the law on which the use of this apparatus is based.
