Abstract

Conditions are investigated in which can be carried out a combined assignment of drivers under user equilibrium and drivers which seek to achieve a system optimum. Such a situation could occur with a route- guidance system, with only a partial take- up of advice. When assuming a polynominal flow- delay function, the resulting combined flow pattern is unique and stable.
