Abstract
The publication is intended to review the state of the art concerning methods influencing behaviour regarding traffic safety. The possibilities and limitations of various methods are outlined and a model framework for publicity campaigns is presented. A number of studies, carried out in various countries, are reviewed and the results are listed in tables. Recent dutch measures regarding safety belts and crash helmets are dealt with.
